Direzione di ricerca

This is an open design question about how a single agnostic secret input should be passed down and transformed into the per-tool environment variables that tox and its hooks expect. No files, entry points or tests are named in the payload, and the author states the UX is still unclear, so there is nothing yet to implement. Whoever picks this up should read the existing comment thread, settle the input schema question first, and treat the discussion outcome as the deliverable.

Descrizione

I was presented with a situation where it was not possible to simply pass a ${{ github.token }} or ${{ secrets.GITHUB_TOKEN }} to a tox invocation that that runs linkcheck.

And so it occurred to me that we should perhaps have a special secret that would be agnostic and tox and or hooks would have to transform into respective env vars somehow.

Or maybe we could pack multiple secrets into this one input together..? It's unclearhow this would work UX-wise, though.
