Record of unlanded work in the legacy Shuttle repo (timusus/shuttle, now archived, so the issue lives here). Seven commits on its local branch worktree-fix-artist-menu add a one-time Shuttle Podcasts promo card (library card plus a Settings row), gated behind a remote JSON switch that is off by default. None are on main there.

  • feat(promo): one-time Shuttle Podcasts card in the library and a Settings row
  • fix(promo): use CardView, since MaterialCardView crashes under the AppCompat theme
  • fix(promo): make the card's close icon and Get it action visible on the light theme
  • fix(promo): count only forward days, record the open before the card is evaluated, trim the card and accent Get it
  • fix(promo): leave Get it in the theme text colour, since Aesthetic restyles it over the accent
  • fix(promo): say the maker of Shuttle in the Podcasts card
  • feat(promo): gate the podcasts promo behind a remote JSON switch, off by default

The worktree was removed on 2026-11-07 to free disk; the branch is intact in the local checkout at /Users/tim/projects/simplecity-apps/shuttle-legacy. Resume there with git worktree add .claude/worktrees/promo worktree-fix-artist-menu, or port the idea (cross-promote Podcasts from Shuttle) to Shuttle2.
