Start with the Compile-Time SQL Validation behavior described in the linked wiki and reproduce the stale squiggly-line error after correcting invalid SQL. Compare editor diagnostics before and after compiling; done means the error indicator clears reliably without requiring a compile.

This appears to be caused by some caching done by the editor but if you compile after fixing the SQL, compile will work fine. I will fix this when I get some time.
