Direzione di ricerca

Start by reading the OAuth user-matching change in linked pull request #14899 and tracing how storage/statamic/oauth/[provider].php is used. Reproduce the reported login failure after deleting the provider file; done means either OAuth login still works or the documentation clearly states that the file must be persisted, depending on the intended behavior.

Bug description

Since the OAuth users are only matched by Provider ID anymore (e.g. Google ID), users can not login if the file in storage/statamic/oauth/[provider].php is deleted.

The only way to regain access is to login via email and connect the provider manually again.

I'm not 100% sure if this is a bug, but if not, I think it should be stated in the docs that storage/statamic/oauth/[provider].php needs to be persisted.

How to reproduce
  1. Setup Statamic with OAuth (e.g. Google)
  2. Login via OAuth
  3. Delete storage/statamic/oauth/[provider].php (e.g. storage/statamic/oauth/google.php)
