Problem

cedardb/sqldoom (GPL-2.0, 95753a20e) is a DOOM engine written in PostgreSQL-compatible SQL (CedarDB): 69 .sql files with 110 CREATE OR REPLACE FUNCTION, 110 CREATE TABLE, 24 CREATE TYPE, 5 views, recursive CTEs in 7 files. The engine has no PostgreSQL dialect (languages/ has db2_sql.py, sqlite.py): 45 files are labelled db2_sql (93 functions found), 20 are labelled sqlite (0 functions, e.g. sql/client/automap.sql, render_automap.sql), so 17 of 110 functions are missed and the dialect label is wrong for all 65.

PostgreSQL is the most common open-source SQL dialect, so this affects any repo with Postgres migrations, functions or dbt-style SQL.

Acceptance

  • A PostgreSQL dialect (CREATE [OR REPLACE] FUNCTION/PROCEDURE ... LANGUAGE sql|plpgsql, $$/$tag$ bodies, CREATE TYPE, RETURNS TABLE, DO blocks) chosen over db2/sqlite by content evidence, with tests per shape, and the db2/sqlite classifiers no longer claiming Postgres files.
  • Rescan of sqldoom: 110/110 functions, all files one dialect; no drift on existing db2/sqlite goldens (or explained).

Found by scanning licensed non-C DOOM ports for the DOOM Crucible corpus (#5619, #5457); clones are local at pinned SHAs, nothing third-party is committed.
