Direzione di ricerca

Start with the README instructions and the Slack.configure block shown in the report, then trace the client.auth_test call in the Ruby Slack Web API client. Reproduce the Heroku deployment error while comparing it with the successful client.files_upload call. Done means identifying the cause of the Array-to-String error and documenting or fixing the affected request path.

Descrizione

bug? question

Hi,

I followed the instructions in the Readme but it's throwing an error at some point. My code is deployed on Heroku. Here's the piece of code in question:

Slack.configure do |config|
    config.token = ENV['SLACK_API_TOKEN']
end
    client = Slack::Web::Client.new
client.auth_test #Error happens at this line.

The error is (displayed on Slack):

<DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0//EN">
<HTML>
 <HEAD><TITLE>Internal Server Error</TITLE></HEAD>
 <BODY>
   <H1>Internal Server Error</H1>
   no implicit conversion of Array into String
   <HR>
   <ADDRESS>
    WEBrick/1.3.1 (Ruby/2.2.4/2015-12-16) at
    [myapp].herokuapp.com:443
   </ADDRESS>
 </BODY>
</HTML>

Somehow, I can still call client.files_upload() after auth_test with no problem (token is correct) but I still get the error above displayed on Slack. What's wrong?
Thanks!
