Current state

The model is validated as a whole (the 150 % model). The CLI can project onto a product (validate --config C, why-active, --all-configs), but the language server has no notion of a configuration, so a user working on one product's requirements sees findings and navigation for all products mixed.

Proposal

  1. Selecting a configuration. An initialization option and a workspace/didChangeConfiguration setting syscribe.configuration (a Configuration id, or empty for the whole model). Standard LSP configuration mechanisms only.
  2. Diagnostics for the selected product. Publish the findings of the projected model (validate --config), including W019/E226 escaping references for that variant; with none selected, behave as today.
  3. Inactive elements. A document whose element is inactive in the selected configuration gets an informational diagnostic ("not active in CONF-X: appliesWhen: Features::…") with DiagnosticTag.Unnecessary (so editors grey it) instead of the findings of the full model.
  4. Hover and code lens. Hover shows whether the element is active and why (why-active); the lens adds active in N of M configurations.
  5. Whole-product gate. A command syscribe.validateAllConfigurations (via workspace/executeCommand) returns a summary the client can show.

Acceptance (tests first)

  • With a configuration selected, an element gated off by appliesWhen produces the "inactive" hint and none of its own findings.
  • Changing the configuration setting republishes diagnostics without restarting the server.
  • With no configuration selected, output is byte-identical to today's.
