Direzione di ricerca

Start by running the OpenCode server and reproducing the Ctrl+C behavior described in the issue. Trace how the server handles SIGINT and identify whether shutdown performs cleanup and exits cleanly. Done means Ctrl+C gracefully terminates the server without requiring forceful termination or leaving resources behind.

Descrizione

Description

When the OpenCode server is running, pressing Ctrl+C does not shut down the process gracefully. The signal appears to be blocked or not handled properly.

Expected Behavior

Pressing Ctrl+C (SIGINT) should gracefully terminate the OpenCode server process, cleaning up any resources and exiting cleanly.

Actual Behavior

Ctrl+C is blocked or ignored, preventing graceful shutdown of the server. Users must resort to forceful termination methods (e.g., kill -9).

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Start the OpenCode server
  2. Press Ctrl+C
  3. Observe that the server does not shut down

Impact

  • Poor user experience when trying to stop the server
  • Potential for resource leaks if forced termination is required
  • May leave zombie processes or locked files
