Dear Martin,

originally responding to GH-469, in order to chime in on saying »Streamz is cool«, and tell you about where we are using it, I thought it would not be appropriate to hijack that conversation, so I am posting here instead, to respond to your curiosity about where Streamz is (about to be) used on our end.

Aging ten years, it would like to receive some love, and we think Streamz can be useful as an underpinning for the main I/O subsystem.
