Descrizione

Before submitting
  • I searched existing issues and did not find a duplicate. Searched "settle" in pingdotgg/t3code; the closest hits are about settle semantics (#24041, #25062, #26097), not list layout.
  • I included enough detail to reproduce or investigate the problem.
Area

apps/web (inferred from the UI; not checked against source)

Steps to reproduce
  1. Open the threads list with several threads, for example in the "Work" project.
  2. Hover a thread card. The "Settle" button appears in the card header and replaces the relative time ("29m", "9m").
  3. Click "Settle" on a card.
  4. Watch the list after the click (4 s clip, see attachment).
Expected behavior

Settling a thread changes only that thread's state. The rest of the list does not move, or the move is a short, clear transition.

[INFERENCE] The reporter expects the settled thread to leave the list without the other cards jumping.

Actual behavior

In the recording (6 sampled frames):

  • The "Settle" button replaces the timestamp in the card header while the card is hovered.
  • After the click, the settled card fades out (a faded ghost card is visible above the "Failed" and "Errors in Unattached Screenshot" cards in the later frames).
  • The cards below the settled one move up to fill the gap, so the list reflows during the fade.

The "Settle" label and the cursor overlap in the header, and a "Settle thread" tooltip appears at the top right.
