This citgm issue reports that the crc32-stream npm module fails on Node.js 26 with require is not defined in ES module scope. Read the crc32-stream block in lib/lookup.json and the test-module workflow linked in the issue. Reproduce with citgm against Node 22/24/26. Any code change may belong in archiverjs/node-crc32-stream rather than citgm; only adjust lookup or skip if that is how similar failures are handled here.

Repo CI https://github.com/archiverjs/node-crc32-stream/blob/master/.github/workflows/nodejs.yml runs only in EOL Node.js versions 18 & 20.
Cloning the repo and running local tests using Ubuntu 26.04.1 LTS and running under Node.js 22, 24 & 26 confirm the compatibility issues for Node.js 26.
