Title

Secondary sorting is ineffective for entries with the same displayed install date

Description

The Install Date column displays only the date, but sorting uses the full timestamp, including the time and fractional seconds.

As a result, entries with the same displayed install date are ordered by their hidden timestamps. A secondary sort criterion, such as Version, is only applied when the full timestamps match exactly.

This makes it difficult to sort drivers by install date and then by version within each day.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Find multiple driver entries with the same displayed Install Date but different versions.
  2. Click the Install Date column header to sort in ascending order.
  3. Hold Shift and click the Version column header to set version as the secondary sort criterion in ascending order.

Expected behavior

Entries with the same displayed install date should be sorted by version in ascending order.

For example:

Install Date Version
2026/10/06 1.0
2026/10/06 2.0
2026/10/06 3.0

Actual behavior

Entries are sorted by their full install timestamps, even though the time is not displayed. Version sorting only takes effect when those timestamps match exactly.

For example, entries with these underlying values would appear in this order:

Displayed Install Date Hidden Time Version
2026/10/06 09:00:00 3.0
2026/10/06 10:00:00 1.0
2026/10/06 11:00:00 2.0

Although all three entries display the same install date, they are not ordered by version.

Implementation details

The column is bound to InstallDate and formatted using Language.Date_Format ({0:d}), which displays only the date. Sorting therefore compares the full DateTime value rather than the displayed date.

The grouping logic already uses InstallDate?.Date, so grouping and sorting use different levels of precision.

Suggested improvement

Use the date-only value (InstallDate?.Date) as the sort key for the Install Date column, so that secondary sorting applies to entries installed on the same day.
