Reproduce on Windows 10 by opening a saved workspace without a .ws extension and confirm that it is treated as an image. Trace the workspace loading and file-type detection entry point, then verify that extensionless workspace files open as workspaces without changing handling for images.

Descrizione

I was having difficulty opening a workspace that I created yesterday. It seems that, at least within Windows 10, saved workspaces without a .ws extension will be loaded as "an image" and not a workspace.
I have not tested this behaviour on other operating systems.
I am not sure how to extract the version number I am running from the application. It was not obvious to me when I did Help > About. I am running the latest Windows 8.7.0 as far as I know.
