Descrizione

Problem

"Request Rate by Status Class" sums dashboard_backend_requests_by_client_total by status_class only. A 4xx on labs and a 4xx on treeDetails are one line. For the week of 21–28 Sep 2026, 4xx was 527 of 24,934 /api/ requests (2.1%), and there were no 5xx. The board cannot show which endpoint produced them.

Ben asked for 4xx by endpoint. The follow-up list includes 5xx the same way.

Proposal

No new metric. endpoint and status_class are already on dashboard_backend_requests_by_client_total, and that counter only records /api/ requests.

Add a panel summed by endpoint and status_class, limited to 4xx and 5xx. This does not depend on #2144. The client label is not required for this cut.

Tests

  • A 404 on testDetails shows as endpoint="testDetails", status_class="4xx".
  • A 500 on labs shows as endpoint="labs", status_class="5xx".
  • A 200 does not appear on the panel.
