Direzione di ricerca

Read src/core/cache/maintenance.js at lines 221 and 330, then compare the sweep with the nearby cleanRetiredEpochs behavior. Determine whether dataset-scoped ticks should limit reclamation or whether global reclamation is intentional. Done means the behavior and documentation agree, either through dataset-scoped sweeping or a recorded decision that reclamation is global.

Descrizione

Source: #2027 at 24be140b6ba1c9371564af4a1645bf85550e29ec
Location: src/core/cache/maintenance.js:330 (call) vs :221 (scope)
Severity: nit

Evidence

maintainCache narrows partition discovery by opts.dataset at :221, but the sweep enumerates the whole .purge-cleanup store every non-dry-run tick. Confirmed at head 24be140b. Consistent with the unscoped cleanRetiredEpochs directly above it.

Why deferral is safe

Matches the established behavior of the sibling reclaimer, so it is a scoping design choice rather than a defect; changing it touches the maintain contract.

Acceptance condition

Either a dataset-scoped tick sweeps only journals under that dataset, or a recorded decision states reclamation is deliberately global; whichever way, behavior and doc agree.

Review preference; backlog only. A human may explicitly delegate it with neutral:fix.
