Descrizione
Put a library prompt into the page's text box from the browser. On Wayland, where Quick insert can only copy (#27), this is the way to paste.
What to do
- Insert from Prompuff: the extension's popup searches the library through the native messaging host (#46). Picking a prompt fills in its variables with their remembered values, and the result goes into the focused text box.
- Typing in the popup searches. Arrows and Enter pick, as in Quick insert.
- Values typed in the popup are remembered as in the app. They pass only between the extension and the host, never to the page except as the final text, and are never logged.
- Inserting uses the text box's own input events, so chat sites see a normal edit. Where a site blocks that, the result is copied and the popup says so.
Done when
- A prompt with variables lands in ChatGPT's and Claude's text boxes on Windows and in WSLg under Wayland.
- A search for a prompt by title finds it as the app's search does.
