Client Reports PHP

The client report protocol was implemented a while ago but client reports themselves are currently not being captured. This issue tracks where client reports have been added to and which parts are still missing:

Client

  • Errors dropped by sample_rate
  • ignore_exceptions / ignore_transactions
  • Event processors returning null
  • before_send, before_send_transaction, before_send_check_in returning null or throwing
  • Spans removed by event processors or before_send_transaction
  • Internal errors while sending (e.g. serialization)
Tracing
  • Unsampled transactions
  • Span recorder overflow (max spans reached)
Transport
  • Rate limited before sending (incl. profiles)
  • HTTP 4xx/5xx responses (not 429)
  • Network errors
Logs
  • before_send_log returning null or throwing
  • Buffer overflow
Metrics
  • before_send_metric returning null or throwing
  • Buffer overflow
Profiles
  • Not enough samples / failed validation
