Why

Fells has six monthly budgets (control plane, portal-auth, sms-otp, and one per product). Glance should show spend against each without opening Billing.

Follow docs/recipes/add-a-service.md.

Steps

  1. Follow docs/recipes/add-a-service.md. aws-sdk-budgets is already a dependency; add the client to AwsClients, pinned to us-east-1 like pricing.
  2. describe_budgets needs the account ID, which the account overview already has from STS.
  3. Model BudgetInfo: name, limit, actual spend, forecasted spend, time unit, percent used.
  4. Columns: name, limit, actual, forecast, used percent.
  5. Console: https://console.aws.amazon.com/billing/home#/budgets/details?name=<name>. CLI: aws budgets describe-budget --account-id <account-id> --budget-name <name>.
  6. Palette entry budgets. Tags can be an empty Tags for now; say so in the PR.

  • README, docs/architecture.md, docs/aws-service-roadmap.md, and AGENTS.md updated
  • Changeset added (minor)
  • cargo fmt --all, cargo clippy --all-targets -- -D warnings, and cargo test --all pass, with output pasted in the PR

Open the view. You should see six budgets.
