Why

All CloudWatch alarms publish to one core alerts topic that feeds the Slack notifier. If that topic loses its subscription, every alarm goes nowhere.

Follow docs/recipes/add-a-service.md.

Steps

  1. Follow docs/recipes/add-a-service.md. New crate aws-sdk-sns.
  2. Fetch list_topics, then get_topic_attributes per topic with bounded concurrency.
  3. Model SnsTopicInfo: name (last ARN segment), ARN, confirmed subscriptions, pending subscriptions, display name, tags via list_tags_for_resource.
  4. Console: https://console.aws.amazon.com/sns/v3/home?region=<region>#/topic/<arn>. CLI: aws sns list-subscriptions-by-topic --topic-arn <arn> --region <region>.
  5. Palette entry sns with alias topics.

  • Rows carry tags: Tags
  • Describe, console pivot, and CLI pivot work on the selected row

  • README, docs/architecture.md, docs/aws-service-roadmap.md, and AGENTS.md updated
  • Changeset added (minor)
  • cargo fmt --all, cargo clippy --all-targets -- -D warnings, and cargo test --all pass, with output pasted in the PR
