Why

The shared ALB is protected by one WAFv2 web ACL (geo allow-list, managed rule sets, rate limit). Glance should show which ACLs exist and what each protects.

Follow docs/recipes/add-a-service.md.

Steps

  1. Follow docs/recipes/add-a-service.md. New crate aws-sdk-wafv2.
  2. Fetch with list_web_acls using scope REGIONAL, then list_resources_for_web_acl per ACL (resource type APPLICATION_LOAD_BALANCER).
  3. Model WebAclInfo: name, ID, ARN, rule count (from get_web_acl), associated resource ARNs, tags via list_tags_for_resource.
  4. Console: https://console.aws.amazon.com/wafv2/homev2/web-acl/<name>/<id>/overview?region=<region>. CLI: aws wafv2 get-web-acl --scope REGIONAL --name <name> --id <id> --region <region>.
  5. Palette entry waf with alias web-acl.

  • WAF view reachable from the command palette
  • Rows carry tags: Tags
  • Describe, console pivot, and CLI pivot work on the selected row
  • A denied or failed fetch shows a status, not an empty table

  • README, docs/architecture.md, docs/aws-service-roadmap.md, and AGENTS.md updated
  • Changeset added (minor)
  • cargo fmt --all, cargo clippy --all-targets -- -D warnings, and cargo test --all pass, with output pasted in the PR

Out of scope

CloudFront-scoped ACLs (scope CLOUDFRONT). Those come with the CloudFront view.
