Why

All product domains live in Route 53 zones that Terraform looks up but does not create. Seeing the zones and their record counts in Glance means you can check DNS without the console.

Steps

  1. Follow docs/recipes/add-a-service.md. New crate aws-sdk-route53.
  2. Route 53 is a global service. Build its client pinned to us-east-1 the same way pricing is built in src/aws/clients.rs, and show the same zones whatever region is selected. Mention this in docs/architecture.md.
  3. Model HostedZoneInfo: name, ID, private or public, record count, comment, and tags via list_tags_for_resource (resource type hostedzone).
  4. Console: https://console.aws.amazon.com/route53/v2/hostedzones#ListRecordSets/<zone-id>. CLI: aws route53 list-resource-record-sets --hosted-zone-id <zone-id>.
  5. Palette entry route53 with aliases dns and zones.

  • Rows carry tags: Tags

  • README, docs/architecture.md, docs/aws-service-roadmap.md, and AGENTS.md updated
  • Changeset added (minor)
  • cargo fmt --all, cargo clippy --all-targets -- -D warnings, and cargo test --all pass, with output pasted in the PR
