What

The #7604 race is back on the 14.93.0 generated document editor (the Harmonia 3 editor, #7770 / PR #7832). On the create page, a relation picked before the page has finished its option loads loses its dependsOn fill: the dependent field keeps its init: default.

BusinessIntents base-sales-invoices test/invoice-entry.spec.js, "B1 the customer's language is taken even when the customer is picked at once":

  • the spec delays the last option list the page loads (VatGroundController, by 3 s);
  • it picks the Customer inside that window, waits for state === 'empty-form', and clicks Create;
  • it then expects the invoice's Language to be the customer's language (2). It gets the init: 1 default.

On dirigiblelabs/dirigible:14.93.0 this fails 1 run in 5 (--repeat-each=5) and once more in a full-suite run. It was green on every run from 14.76.0 (#7629) through 14.88.0. The plain pick test (no delay) passes, but its dependsOn fill sometimes lands after 5 s.

Expected

A pick made while the page is still loading must be honoured, as #7629 made it on the old editor. Either register the dependsOn watchers before the first pick can happen, or replay the current relation values once the loads settle.

Where

The create page of any document with a header-level dependsOn { relation, valueFrom }. In this case it is SalesInvoice.Language dependsOn: { relation: Customer, valueFrom: Language }.
