Direzione di ricerca

Start in main.go, where dbc already detects whether it is running in a TTY, and reproduce the noisy output by running dbc through a Jupyter notebook's ! or %system command. Trace how progress output is selected and define completion as notebook-friendly progress without the current unbounded output, ideally preserving the existing TTY behavior.

Descrizione

When dbc executed in a Jupyter notebook with the !/%system, it produces a huge stream of output:

(this goes on and on and on)

It would be nice if we could show the progress in a way that's compatible with Jupyter. Short of that, we could detect we're in a notebook and use the same logic we already use in main.go to detect if we're in a TTY to at least improve the output.
