Start with src/templates/quote/book-page.ts for the paper and serif treatment, and src/templates/blog/geometric.ts for rotation. Implement the template in src/templates/quote/sticky-note.ts using the specified fields and autoFontSize(); check the shared template checklist in #5. Done when the quote fits, the template is re-exported from src/templates/quote/index.ts, and it is registered in the Quote block of src/templates/registry.ts.

hacktoberfest help wanted templates

Part of #5. A playful quote card.

Idea
A square sticky note (about 560x460) sits slightly rotated (rotate(-3deg)) on a plain background, with a soft shadow and a translucent "tape" strip across the top. The quote is in Playfair Display, and the author sits at the bottom right after a dash.

Template details

  • File: src/templates/quote/sticky-note.ts, id quote-sticky-note
  • Fields: quote (textarea), commonFields.author, noteColor (color, default '#FDE68A'), commonFields.bgColor, { ...commonFields.textColor, defaultValue: '#1F2937' }

Where to look

  • Closest reference: src/templates/quote/book-page.ts (paper feel, serif), src/templates/blog/geometric.ts (rotate transform)

Acceptance criteria

  • Quote size adapts with autoFontSize() and never overflows the note
  • If rotated text renders poorly, rotate only a background layer and keep the text straight
  • Re-exported in src/templates/quote/index.ts and registered in the Quote block of src/templates/registry.ts
  • Meets the shared template checklist in #5
