What

A small radio button on the table that opens a picker of 24/7 live streams. Pick one and it starts playing straight away, without leaving the table.

A competitor, PlayBlind (crypto poker, launched Sept 2026; press release), has a one-click button at its tables that drops players into the 24/7 Soundwave stream. We want the same, with more choice:

How PlayBlind's works (reference)

  • A small button with a music-note icon on the table.
  • Hover: a little tooltip says "Play Soundwave".
  • Click: the stream starts playing right there in the page, with no new tab, no pop-up player and no leaving the table.

Ours should feel the same, just with a choice of channels: music-note button, and on hover or click a small menu with the four channels; clicking one plays it in the page immediately. Audio plays through a hidden in-page player (an HTML audio element for a stream URL), never a browser redirect.

Where

A small, unobtrusive button at the top of the table, above the gap between seats 5 and 6. It must not cover seats, the pot or the action bar, and must work on desktop and mobile layouts.

Behaviour

  • Music-note icon button; hovering shows a tooltip ("Radio"), clicking opens a small menu listing the channels by name.
  • Click a channel: it starts playing immediately, and the menu shows which one is on.
  • Click the playing channel again (or a Stop control) to stop. A volume control is a nice-to-have.
  • Playing continues while the player stays on the table; switching tables/pages stops it.
  • The table's own game sounds keep working alongside it.
  • Remember the last choice and volume (localStorage); never autoplay on page load (browsers block it anyway, and it would surprise players).

Acceptance criteria

  • Radio button above seats 5–6, on desktop and mobile layouts, not overlapping anything.
  • Menu lists the four channels; one click starts that stream in the page (no new tab or external player); the playing one is marked.
  • Stop works; switching channel replaces the stream (never two at once).
  • No autoplay on load; last choice/volume remembered.
  • A dead or blocked stream shows a short "Couldn't play this station" message instead of failing silently.
  • Screenshots of the button and the open menu in the PR.

To decide before building

  • Exact stream sources. Each must be playable in the browser (an HTTPS audio stream URL, or an embeddable 24/7 live player), stable, and licensed for embedding. Prefer each station's official public stream or embed. The candidates above came from a quick search and need checking.
  • What "Soundwave" is exactly: the stream URL behind PlayBlind's button (needs a screenshot of the button and the link it opens; playblind.com isn't reachable from our dev network).
