The report concerns the message "Passkeys not supported for this app" that appears when Outlook (com.microsoft.office.outlook) requests a passkey on Android. Search the Android codebase for that string and for the package name to find where app eligibility is decided, and read related issue #6587 for the earlier X/Twitter case. Done means Outlook sign-in with a Bitwarden passkey succeeds on Android, verified on a device or emulator. Steps To Reproduce

  1. Create a passkey for a personal Microsoft account and store it in Bitwarden (via the desktop browser extension).
  2. On Android, open the Outlook app and start signing in to that Microsoft account.
  3. Choose to sign in with a passkey and select the Bitwarden entry.
  4. Unlock Bitwarden.

Expected Result

The user is signed in to Outlook with the passkey stored in Bitwarden.

Actual Result

Bitwarden shows "Passkeys not supported for this app" and the sign-in fails.

Additional Context

  • The same Bitwarden passkey works on desktop (browser extension).
  • A passkey for the same Microsoft account stored in Google Password Manager works in the Outlook app on the same device, so both the account and the app support passkeys.
  • Outlook was already mentioned in #6587 (same error with X/Twitter).
