bit new starts the project with aspire start, which leaves aspire run and the dotnet watch it starts running outside the project's own apps. bit remove stops the app host, the API and the web app, but neither of those two. They keep the project's folder and some of its subfolders in use, so the command ends with "Couldn't delete everything" and asks the user to close apps they never opened.

The same project also had a file named NUL in src/Tests/bin/Debug/net10.0. Podman has ssh write its known hosts to NUL, and Git for Windows' ssh makes that a real file in the current folder. bit remove gets "Access denied" on it, since Windows reads that name as the null device, and with a file left it never looks for the processes that are still in the folder.
