Start with the seven named server files, the migration folder, and apps/docs/storage-and-config.mdx; read the referenced #717 operator review and its remediation to understand the intended behavior. The work spans sign-in links, session storage, token-file checks, a migration name, documentation, and GitHub token revocation. It is done when each listed follow-up is addressed and the relevant tests and documentation reflect the changes.

P3 items from the operator read of #717 (comment of 2026-10-29 11:08 UTC), left out of the remediation on purpose. One PR can take them all.

  1. apps/server/src/up.ts: the one-time sign-in link (a first-admin session for ten minutes) is printed on every start; journald and the dogfood's .usine/stdout*.log are not mode 0600. Print it only when the instance has no members, or only on a TTY.
  2. apps/server/src/auth/sqlite.ts, authenticate: every authenticated request runs a BEGIN IMMEDIATE write to update lastUsedAt. Update it at most once a minute per token.
  3. Same file: expired sessions are never deleted and GET /api/tokens still lists them. Delete them on authenticate or list, and leave them out of the response.
  4. apps/server/src/restart.ts and stop.ts: an unreadable admin token file only logs a warning and the live-attempt and env checks are skipped. Make that error fail the command with the file path and the expected owner and mode.
  5. apps/server/src/auth/local.ts: the mode check does not check the file owner and follows symlinks. Check both.
  6. packages/engine/drizzle/20261029101340_bored_paladin: give the migration folder a descriptive name; apps/docs storage-and-config.mdx still lists github-ask as an approval source.
  7. apps/server/src/auth/github.ts: the GitHub user token is wiped locally but not revoked at GitHub after the identity read. Call the revocation endpoint and ignore its failure.
