Direzione di ricerca

Start with the reported Cytron Maker Nano RP2040 setup, CircuitPython 10.2.1, and the Safe Mode overview linked in the issue. The report does not include the program or a reproducible test, so first narrow down whether the hard fault depends on the 200 MHz clock setting or the described workload; done means identifying a reproducible cause or a specific next diagnostic step.

Description

I've got some large code which is doing lots of i2c comms, some UART, low frequency PWM to make LEDs flash on GPIO, very occasional neopixel use and using a fair bit of memory including some use of large array.array.

I have the RP2040 running at 200Mhz rather than 125MHz. I looked at https://learn.adafruit.com/circuitpython-safe-mode/overview and it doesn't include over-clocking as a potential cause. About a minute after that hard crash the microcontroller.cpu.temperature was 37 degrees celsius FWIW. The temperature is now printed from the program and it's peaking at 43 (ambient is 30, it's hot over here). Can over-clocking cause that type of hard fault?

I'd had the program running okay for 2 hours yesterday and today it died after about 10 minutes of use today.
