Direzione di ricerca

Start by locating the Custom Edge Address field and the existing TLS fragmentation/network connection code in the Android app. Read how the app establishes a connection, then determine how a scanner could safely test TCP connectivity and the specified TLS SNI across candidate addresses. Done means users can scan a chosen range, compare results by latency, and select an address; the issue does not identify relevant files or tests.

Descrizione

enhancement

Hi, thanks for v1.0.7 and the new TLS fragmentation options.

After testing, I noticed that fragmentation works great for bypassing SNI-based DPI, but it cannot save an IP that is completely blocked at the network level by my ISP. I used an external HTML/JS scanner from my own network and found that 23.235.42.190 works perfectly without fragmentation, while 23.235.42.11 is completely blocked (TCP timeout) even with fragmentation enabled.

It would be incredibly useful to have a built-in scanner for the "Custom Edge Address" field directly in the app.

Proposed features:

  • A button next to the Custom Edge input (e.g., "Scan Network").
  • It scans the 23.235.42.0/24 range (or a user-defined range) on port 2499.
  • It tests both TCP connect and TLS handshake with the correct SNI (p.m1.fastly-masque.net).
  • It shows the results sorted by ping/latency.
  • Clicking a result fills the Custom Edge field automatically.
  • Bonus: Show the estimated country for each IP (based on the last octet mapping).

Or, just a quick progress indicator (e.g., "Scanning...") and then a toast message: "Connected to the fastest IP: 23.235.42.190".

This would save users from manually running external scripts and guessing which IPs are unblocked on their specific ISP.

Thanks again for your great work!
