frontend good first issue

currently, the website uses a pumpkin emoji as its favicon. we want to replace it with something more visually appealing, polished and recognizable that suits the osd website's identity.

tasks

  • find a suitable favicon that complements the osd website's theme and wlug branding.
  • add the favicon to the project and update the relevant html references.
  • ensure it remains recognizable at small sizes.
  • verify that it displays correctly in the browser tab.

acceptance criteria

  • the pumpkin emoji is replaced with the new favicon.
  • the favicon looks good at small sizes and fits the website's identity.
  • no broken asset paths are introduced.
  • the project builds successfully.

testing

  • run npm run build from the frontend directory.
  • include a screenshot showing the new favicon in the browser tab in the pull request.
