backend waiting webchart-convergence

The payer and site columns, and the payer filter on the roster, cases and exports, are empty for every patient that comes from live WebChart data. They are filled only on the synthetic corpus.

Where it stands

  • Payer. Ingest fetches Coverage for every patient (#713, backend-ts/src/engine/ingress/webchart/served-resources.ts). Nothing extracts it into the live directory, though (backend-ts/src/engine/ingress/webchart/live-directory.ts), so payer stays empty. On the trial instance only 2 of 36 patients had a Coverage at all, and neither had a Coverage.type. The column holds a Source of Payment Typology code (DATA_MODEL_CONTRACTS §6.3), so the question to MIE is whether Coverage.type can carry that code (docs/OPEN_QUESTIONS.md §4) and where WebChart stores it. The proposal is insurance_policy and insurance_plans.insurance_type_code, which is in #892.
  • Site. No WebChart source is mapped for a patient's site or location.

Done when

  • payer comes from a live patient's Coverage, using only a code the data states. Nothing is inferred from a plan name.
  • site has a confirmed source, or it is documented as unavailable on live data.
  • Code comments that cited #533 or #591 for this (both are about cms165 blood pressures) cite this issue instead.

The ACO's attributed-list report and the roster's insurance filter both need this before the PHI phase.
