The payload names no files, tests or entry points, so first reproduce the bug: type into the search box on the home view and watch whether the suggestion list is cleared by a later update or closed by a focus or blur event. Find the search suggestion code in the repository and confirm which path empties it. Done means the suggestions stay visible while typing and close only on selection or dismissal, with a test or manual check recorded in the pull request.

Where: the user's own home view on the company instance.
Context: The suggestion list appears briefly while typing in the search box and then vanishes instead of persisting, which makes search effectively unusable for this user. Reported 2026-10-13.
Not established: browser, the query typed, whether it reproduces for other users or on other instances, and whether it is the suggestion list being re-rendered empty by a later emission or closed by a focus/blur event.
