Advances (เบิกล่วงหน้า) are how many labourers get through a pay period, and the pilot gives them. Payroll has standing deductions such as loan repayment, but nothing records "500 baht paid out on the 8th, to come off this period's pay".

Scope

  • HR records an advance: who, how much, on what date, and paid in cash.
  • It is deducted from the next pay run that includes that date, and shown as its own line on the payslip.
  • An advance larger than the period's pay is not allowed to push net pay below zero. What remains carries to the next period, and HR sees it.

Acceptance

  • Two advances in one period both appear on the payslip and both come off net pay.
  • An advance bigger than the period's pay leaves net pay at zero and carries the rest, visibly, to the next period.
  • Advances are audited, and a closed period's advances cannot be edited.
