Description

I prefer to use English when gaming but i'm not a native english speaker. My Steam is set to English.

However, the SteamDB browser extension displays its interface in my native language because it appears to follow my browser or system language. This feels disruptive because my Steam interface is in English, and I would prefer the extension to use English as well.

As of now there isn't a way to set the addons language to a prefered one.

Actual behavior

The extension automatically uses my native language (Set in my browser / OS), even though Steam itself is configured to use English.

Describe the solution you'd like - Improved/Suggested behavior

The extension should either:

  • Follow the language selected in Steam; or
  • Provide its own language setting, allowing users to select English independently of their browser or operating-system language.

This would be especially useful for users who use their native language for everyday browsing but prefer English for gaming and gaming-related tools.
