Direzione di ricerca

Start with manager/stale_render.rs and the use/drop handling from #266, then trace how pull and checkout re-render and how undo chooses a long-running action. Decide whether tracker-content changes under reads trigger restarts, add --json reporting for use/drop, and settle on one restart action rule; done when these gaps behave consistently.

Descrizione

#266 (for #249) makes tracker use/drop restart or warn about running processes after a render changed a file under them. Gaps it left:

  • tracker pull and tracker checkout re-render too and still say nothing. The helper in manager/stale_render.rs would cover them.
  • Only rendered files are compared. If a use brings back a secret tracker's own .env.local (content, not a render), a running process reading it goes stale silently. Should tracker-content changes under reads count too?
  • No --json for use/drop, so the stale/restarted report is human-only (stderr).
  • Which action gets restarted differs from undo. #266 restarts the autostart action, falling back to the first long-running one; undo uses the first long-running one. They can disagree when a resource has two long-running actions. Pick one rule.
