Start at the player screen’s play, pause, next, and previous button handlers and their animation code; the issue does not name files or tests, so trace those entry points from the player UI. Reproduce on an Android device, then inspect how button actions and animations are coordinated. Done means the controls respond and animate more smoothly, including on lower end devices.

Description
When I restart a song that was previously paused with the play button in the player menu, there's some delay for the animations to appear (like the button changing state and the artwork zooming). Same thing for the next and previous buttons that have a little lag during their stretching animation. If possible I would love some optimizations for these buttons to give a more instant and smooth feeling, especially on low end devices.
The other buttons are more or less instant :)
Steps to Reproduce
Touch the buttons in the player while a song is playing (pause, play, previous, next).
