Direzione di ricerca

Start with enterprise/custom-sandbox-images/building-custom-images.mdx, then index.mdx and single-image-admin-console.mdx. Confirm the published agent-server tags (-python and -python-full) before writing, since the issue is blocked on the SDK rename. Done when the Base Image section, the base-image contents table and the version table cover both flavors and the new explanation is linked from the other two pages. The roughly 20 other pages with -python tags may need a separate issue.

Descrizione

Summary

The agent-server image is being published as <version>-python (slim, no VS Code or built-in ACP clients) and <version>-python-full. The custom image docs describe a single base image that includes VS Code and the ACP providers.

What to update

  • In enterprise/custom-sandbox-images/building-custom-images.mdx:
    • The Base Image section shows FROM ghcr.io/openhands/agent-server:1.46.0-python. Explain which flavor to start from and when to pick -python-full.
    • Split the "What is already inside the base image?" table by flavor. It currently lists the VS Code server and the claude-code, codex and gemini-cli providers as always present.
    • Update Version Compatibility to show tags for both flavors.
    • Note the effect on existing images: an image built FROM ...-python before the rename was the full image, and the same tag is now slim.
  • In enterprise/custom-sandbox-images/index.mdx and single-image-admin-console.mdx, link to the new explanation. Also mention that the Sandbox Image option doesn't apply when a custom image is enabled.
  • About 20 other pages show -python tags, for example sdk/guides/agent-server/docker-sandbox.mdx, openhands/usage/advanced/custom-sandbox-guide.mdx and enterprise/k8s-install/gke.mdx. Check them for the changed meaning. That may deserve a separate issue, since it touches the OSS docs.

Blocked on

The SDK rename shipping, so tag names and contents can be verified.
