Direzione di ricerca

This work is explicitly blocked on the hardware tracking issue, Project-Liasis #1; first check whether the PCB now includes an accelerometer. If it does, follow the proposed Libelle/NorthernWidget conventions for getRoll(), getPitch(), getHeader(), and getString(), and compare with Libelle's ADXL343 tilt output. Done means the measurement output includes roll and pitch columns in the stated order.

Descrizione

Motivation

See hardware tracking issue: Project-Liasis #1

Once an accelerometer (proposed: LIS3DH) is added to the Liasis PCB, the library should expose getRoll() and getPitch() methods and integrate tilt into the measurement output — analogous to how Libelle exposes tilt via its ADXL343.

API additions (proposed)

Following the Libelle/NorthernWidget conventions:

float getRoll(); // degrees, 3-axis atan formula
float getPitch(); // degrees, 3-axis atan formula

getHeader() and getString() should include roll and pitch columns (consistent with Libelle's column ordering: roll, pitch, then sensor channels).

Notes

  • This issue is blocked on hardware — do not implement until Project-Liasis adds the accelerometer.
  • If LIS3DH is used, consider whether a shared NW accelerometer library (covering both Libelle and Liasis) is warranted, or whether each library includes its own thin driver.
