This epic tracks implementation in sub-issues; render hooks for links and images are the first step and depend on Phase 2 data files. Start by locating those sub-issues and reading the Phase 2 data-file work. Done means the _rating example works with templates only and is documented as a tutorial on the docs site.

Current State
Sites cannot change how Markdown renders, define reusable logic, or generate pages from data without changing
Fanstatic itself. The goal ("the Drupal of SSGs") is deep customization through conventions: YAML, file and
folder names, and Liquid templates. No site-local C# compilation. A Razor-based option is only researched (spike).
Driving example: the owner's blog turns [Pentiment](_rating) into a custom rating link. Render hooks + data files
must make that a 5-line template.
Tasks:
