Context

Last step of due dates. Builds on "Due dates (2/3): pick and show a due date in the app".

Acceptance criteria
  • A task is overdue when its due date is before today (in the user's timezone) and its status isn't Done. It shows a red Overdue badge next to the date.
  • Overdue task cards also get a subtle red border (for example border-red-500/40), which stays red on hover.
  • Optional: tasks due today show an amber Due today badge. They keep the normal border.
  • Done tasks never show these badges or the red border.
  • The badges include text, not only colour, so colour-blind users can tell them apart.
How to test
  1. Create tasks due yesterday, today and next week (edit the dates if needed): yesterday's shows Overdue and has a red border, today's shows Due today (if you added it), and next week's shows neither.
  2. Hover over the overdue task: the border stays red.
  3. Mark the overdue task as Done: the badge and the red border disappear.
