Direzione di ricerca

Read CLEANROOM-OS.md and crates/pod-updater/src/install.rs, especially the TODO markers and DryMcuFlasher path; the issue says the STM32 Tier-3 LSP flash still needs implementation, while the Tier-1 OS path may be superseded by RAUC. Review error.rs and lib.rs for the tracked stubs, then identify the hardware test setup from the repository. Done means the MCU flash and readback path works on hardware; the issue does not name a test file or spell out the completion criteria further.

Descrizione

enhancement

The destructive OS slot write + fw_setenv flip and the MCU flash+readback are deliberately not implemented: DryOsSlotWriter and DryMcuFlasher log a plan under dry_run and return Error::LiveApplyNotImplemented when armed (crates/pod-updater/src/install.rs:168-233, error.rs:52). Detection/download/verify are live but the actual apply paths still need to be written and hardware-tested. Tracked in-code by the // TODO(live-cutover) markers in install.rs, error.rs:52, and lib.rs:27.

Note the clean-room pivot changes the shape of this work: per CLEANROOM-OS.md, RAUC now owns the OS tier (see #46 and #47), so pod-updater's Tier-1 eMMC path may be superseded — the STM32 Tier-3 LSP flash is the part that still has to land here. Related: #1 (OTA button in settings).
