Reproduce with the attached voicemail WAV (msg0000.WAV.zip) on Android; other apps play it but this player shows a generic unknown error. Trace the Kotlin playback path (player/engine used for local files) and inspect how WAV/PCM is opened and errors are mapped. Done when that sample plays without the unknown-error toast.

WAV files created by my voicemail play in other apps but give "An unknown error has occurred" in music-player.

Expected behavior

It plays.

Actual behavior

It says "An unknown error has occurred".
