The payload names only the setting Settings > Vibrate on button press and the keypad buttons, so start by finding where that preference is read and where keypad taps trigger haptic feedback. Compare that path with the long-press C handler, which vibrates regardless of the setting, to see which call is skipped on normal taps. Done means a normal keypad tap vibrates when the setting is on and does not when it is off, verified on a device or emulator, since the report is device-specific.

Steps to reproduce the bug
  1. Go to Settings > Vibrate on button press and insure that it is switched on.
  2. Press one or more buttons on the calculator keypad.
  3. Notice that no vibration accompanies the button presses.
Expected behavior

A vibration accompanying each button press.

Actual behavior

No vibration accompanies button presses. However, a vibration is generated on a long press of the C button regardless of Vibrate on button press setting state.

Additional information

Samsung's stock calculator does generate a vibration accompanying each button press, so the issue is clearly not a matter of a device setting muting vibrations.
