I have tested that this issue has not been fixed in the latest (beta or stable) release.

After the latest update the main window gets stuck in 'Loading packages' mode indefinitely, see the screenshot below. The UniGetUI Log has valuable information regarding a persistent network error that might be the cause.

Steps to reproduce the issue

Open UniGetUI
Wait a few seconds
Notice the stale/stuck state
