Start with test_return_to_origin.py at test_15_closing_an_agents_thread_keeps_the_way_back_to_tasks and run the reported Chromium command to reproduce the URL mismatch. Trace the thread panel's Close action and the history update it triggers, using recent changes #699 and #704 for context. Done means Chromium ends at /projects/<id>/agents while retaining the Tasks origin control.

Found while reviewing #680. On main 93e3d9171, in Chromium:

Actual value: http://127.0.0.1:31300/projects/<id>/agents?thread=<task id>

After "Close" on the agents' thread panel opened from a task's Details, the address should be replaced with /agents (the page the task led to) and keep the "Tasks" origin control; it still ends in ?thread=. The same module in WebKit passes (Ran 71 tests ... OK with the #680 modules), so it may be engine timing or an engine-specific history replace. Not caused by #680 or #688. Recent changes to this area: #699, #704.
