Start by reproducing the drag-selection behavior with tiny brush marks, then compare it with click selection, which the report says works. The issue does not name a source file or test, so trace the editor's drag-selection entry point and look for existing selection tests. Done when drag-selecting the small paths reliably selects them in both reproduction scenarios.

Describe the bug
If a path is really small and part of a larger path (e.g. uniting paths together or using a brush with a lot of scatter), it can be weird trying to select it with the cursor.

To reproduce
With the new brush beta:

  1. Create any brush with small bits (increase the spread, and maybe use a small shape)
  2. Try to drag-select a small part of it - it may not get selected
  3. Try to click-select the same part - it should get selected

In normal Candlestick or Wick:

  1. Create a lot of tiny dots with the brush
  2. Create a large brush stroke
  3. Unite all objects
  4. Try to drag-select the small dots - they will not be selected

Expected behavior
Drag-selecting more reliably selects the path
