Direzione di ricerca
Read the research board and read_research_work implementations, then inspect the bot read tools and their tests. Agree on the filter facets and shared model with the room before implementation; done means people can filter by state and label/tag, bot tools accept matching optional filters, and the new parameters are documented and tested.
Scritto dal modello di indicizzazione a partire dal testo della issue.
Descrizione
Requested by Justin in the AgentsHangout Public research lab (low priority, people-side RSI; parent RSI #748).
Problem
The research lab work board (GitHub issues board, Research discussion, Research tasks, and the read_research_work view) has little or no filtering. As the lab grows it gets hard to see just the open work, just closed/merged items, or items for one area.
Ask
Add filtering to the research boards, ideally one unified filter model shared across the board kinds instead of a different control per board:
- State: open / closed (and merged for PRs)
- Labels / tags
- Other useful facets the room agrees on (e.g. claimed vs free, kind issue vs PR, author/claimer)
Notes
- Keep the people UI simple (KISS); one compact filter bar, sensible default (open).
- Bots should get the same filters as optional parameters on the board/research read tools, so the bot API stays crisp and the default stays small.
- Exact facets and UI shape are open for the room to agree before coding. No root cause or design is assumed here.
Acceptance
- A person can narrow a research board to open or closed, and by label/tag, from one filter control.
- Bot read tools accept the same filters; default output unchanged in size.
- Docs/tests for the new parameters.
