Direzione di ricerca

Start by locating where Azurite validates supported Blob Storage API versions; this issue does not name a file or test. Check how the supported version list is maintained and run the relevant API version tests. Done means requests using 2026-10-06 work without --skipApiVersionCheck and existing version checks still pass.

Descrizione

Which service does this apply to?

Blobs

Issue Description

When upgrading the .NET SDK Azure.Storage.Blobs to version 12.30.1 in a .NET 10 project, local development fails because Azurite does not yet support the newly requested API version 2026-10-06.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Setup a .NET 10 project using Azure.Storage.Blobs version 12.30.1.
  2. Spin up a standard Azurite instance (v4.16.0).
  3. Run any standard operation using BlobServiceClient or BlobContainerClient.
Actual Behavior / Error Message

The framework throws a RequestFailedException with the message:
The API version 2026-10-06 is not supported by Azurite

Expected Behavior

Azurite should recognize and support API version 2026-10-06 natively to keep parity with the latest stable .NET SDK releases.

Environment & Context
  • Azurite Version: 4.16.0
  • SDK Package: Azure.Storage.Blobs v12.30.1
  • Target Framework: .NET 10
Additional Information
  • Working Setup: Downgrading the NuGet package back to Azure.Storage.Blobs v12.29.2 resolves the issue completely as it uses an older, supported API version.
  • Workaround: Running Azurite with the --skipApiVersionCheck flag unblocks development for now, but native support is requested for testing new features.
