Problem

When a team manager or chat session located at home directory (/Users/...) delegates work or spawns tasks:

  1. Subtask worker inherits the manager's directory (~) as ground instead of the git repository worktree, causing relative doc references such as docs/design/plandb-cli/DESIGN.md to fail.
  2. In response to the missing document, the agent falls back to an unpruned find . -name "DESIGN.md" -o -name "*plandb*" scanning the entire home drive, freezing turns for 30s+ across multiple attempts.
  3. In plan-born tasks, tasks created under the engine supervisor collide with SQLite plandb.db, causing plandb done t-<id> to fail with task is not claimed when upstream cancelled or managed outside plandb.
Proposed Fix
  1. Ensure manager subtask derivation properly resolves and propagates the project repository root / active worktree rather than naked home folder ~.
  2. Safeguard tool guidance and belt execution to prune common heavy directories (.git, node_modules, vendor, .venv, Library) on filesystem discovery commands, and inline plandb contract rules into worker instructions.
  3. Make plandb CLI handle terminal/cancelled tasks cleanly without spurious un-claimed rejections on done.
